Spiders produce their silk and create flexible webs in a procedural path, yet each web by the same maker is unique, embracing the mistakes and imperfections of the process. Thin 3D prints that symbolically represent the web are printed, where each print can be molded to generate new shapes every time. This helped in unlocking a niche in 3D printing where 2D can become endless 3D objects. By shining light on to these wireframe prints, interesting marks are cast on the surface the object lives on.
